Once you have submitted your order with any images needed for your signage, our designers will produce a proof that will be emailed to you for your approval. In order to ensure your satisfaction, your order will not be produced until the proofs themselves are approved. You are, of course, allowed to make any changes necessary to your proofs and resubmit your requests for revisions. Let our designers know how they can help make your signage perfect and they will happily guide you through this process. We’re not all artists. Luckily, we have some of the best!
Once proofs are approved, our customer service team will notify you of the lead time. Once approved and in production, all sales are final.
A message is no good if you can’t read it! Please send your artwork to our designers in a format in appropriately detailed resolution for print use. When possible, please send files in a vector format.
A vector file is an image file that allows our designers to scale the image to any size without loss of quality. These file types are usually generated from Adobe Illustrator and typically have file extensions of .AI or .EPS.
High resolution images sent as .JPG/.JPEG, .TIFF or .PNG files will also work. If possible, please send images at 300 dpi. DPI stands for “dots per square inch.” This is the measurement printing companies use to determine how sharp an image is. Photos or images used online or web graphics can be at low resolution (72 DPI) and will look GREAT on a computer screen. If you try to print those same pictures they’ll look extremely pixelated. For printing purposes images should be 300 DPI or better.
For examples, below are two images that clearly demonstrate the difference between 300 dpi and 72 dpi. This is how a printing press produces a low resolution graphic.
Rest assured; our design team will not lead you astray! Our customer service team will let you know if any element of your graphic or artwork will not translate well in the printing process once it is review by our designers. We will not begin any kind of custom work without your pre-approval of all proofs and elements of your design.
